Experience

Throughout my career, I have gained experience working across a range of services, including adult mental health services, working with families in local authority services, in inpatient health settings and local government bodies.

Within my NHS work, I specialise in the perinatal period (the period from conception, pregnancy, birth and parenthood). This time is one of many transitions and although it is hoped to be a joyous time, sometimes it can feel much further away from this. This may be due to difficulties conceiving, loss, birth trauma or because it can stir up difficult feelings from our own experiences of being parented. Together we can explore your experience of the perinatal period and empower you to find a way forward through the challenging parts.
